Just Starting – Having Trouble Starting Your Business?

Less is more, simplify it.
Make your business activities a routine and I guarantee you’ll do more than you are now.  Your routine should be simple and not take more than 20 minutes per day.  All of us have 20 minutes that we can spare.  The key is to make sure that no matter what the circumstances, you put in your 20 minutes.
My routine is to create one new account on community or social websites per day.  I use the website knowem.com (Matthew Sodoma on Knowem.com) to find new profiles to create.  They track your username on over 500 websites which is very useful, but the list itself is useful to me.  One new account per day is my goal, but I usually end up doing 2 or 3.  This technique is great for startup businesses because it exposes you to additional useful websites and platforms for marketing your business.
The second task in my routine is to create at least a 1 paragraph blog post for one of my two blogs; Just Starting – Matthew Sodoma and Day to Day: Live free.  I do this 5 days per week and then spend the weekends working on optimization, redesigning, etc.
It’s that simple.  That is my routine and anything else I do is additional work.
Why does it work?
By making sure you do just a little bit every day, you get attached to your projects.  Then, just doing the bare minimum and providing a paragraph of information doesn’t always seem like a good idea.  The bottom line is, you have the time and you’ll make it as long as you have a routine and stick to it.  Not only will you make time for your routine, but you’ll make additional time to create great content and optimize your content on search engines.
Your tasks
1.   What are your goals?
2.   What tasks can I break up into 20 minutes per day to reach those goals?
3.   What is the best time of day for me to complete my power routine (right before bed or right when you wake up?)
4.   Just start your routine
