The Four Hour Work Week is one of my favorite books.  Ferris’s best seller ignited the fire within me to start my own business and to start contacting the “major players” in our world today.  There is a common misconception in our world that major players in big companies are unreachable.  Believe it or not, a lot of them are down-to-earth real people.  They just happen to make a lot more money than the rest of us.

Tim Ferris’s 4-Hour Workweek provides a step by step guide on how to start your own business, market your own business, and do it all in the least amount of time as possible with great time management techniques.  Tim’s main idea is to create a shippable product and then outsource all of the services.  Ideally, you would create a business that runs itself and is setup with automatic pay systems so you invest very little time.

Possibly even more valuable than Tim’s information itself, are the vast amount of resources and links that he provides.  The services that you did not even know exist can have such a major impact on your business and personal life.  You’ll find time that you did not even realize you had.

I do not have any criticisms for this book.  The only one that I could think of is that it seems to sound too good to be true, but that is only because you have not started.  Starting your own business and income opportunities is easier than it sounds.  Find more information on starting your own business at my blog Day to Day: Live Free.

I would recommend The 4-Hour Workweek to anyone that works from 9-5 and is looking for a way out of the system.  You’ll find ways to live like a king that you had never thought possible on a minimal income.
